Greetings! I am James! I am an experienced Dungeon Master, Writer, and Therapist in training! My goal here as a DM is to provide my players with dungeons awaiting to be plundered, worlds both inner and outer to be explored, and a story to tell for years to come!
GAMING STYLE
Campaigns always start with a Session 0. This is basically a meet and greet where I get to know the players, determine what kind of game the players want to play, establish ground rules, and help with character creation.
No matter what kind of game is being ran, early on I focus on learning more about the players, getting new players accustomed to the game, and feeling out the party dynamic. From there, I prep session by session depending on the direction the game is heading.
I am most familiar with loose games which I build around the players’ individual characters or run in a sandbox style. I can, however, run specific modules if the players desire. I have several settings I am comfortable with, including kitchen sink settings such as Midgard as well as lesser-known settings such as the Midland low fantasy setting, among others.
I enjoy having consistent feedback from the players, which helps me improve as a DM and improve the quality of my games. So, feel free to share your thoughts!

EXPECTATIONS
This is a cooperative game. That means no PvP unless all parties agree to it out of character.
It is important to be considerate of other players’ fun while playing. I will be doing my best to spread out the spotlight. That said, if the actions of one player is actively ruining the fun of others, I will be sure to speak to them out of game. Should the example behavior continue, I will no longer accept them in my games.
GENERAL GAME INFO
I do not have a particular module or campaign in mind. If the party has a specific module or setting they wish to play, feel free to let me know. Otherwise, we can run a sandbox-style game.
I would prefer to run a game with just 3-4 players, but I am willing to run a game for up to 6! Groups larger than 6 will cost extra (To be negotiated).
PLATFORM
I prefer to use Roll20 for my games. I can consider other platforms if all players agree, but I cannot guarantee that I will have access to them.
We will be using Discord for voice. Discord will also contain game info for the players. Obviously, this requires a functioning microphone.
Video is not required, but I highly recommend it as body language goes a long way in helping me get a feel for the players’ dispositions.
MY RATES
Session 0 and Session 1 are on the house! Consider these as trial runs to see if I am the right fit for you!
Further sessions are $20 per person.
Payments are made any time after a session and before the next session. Failure to pay results in the next session being dropped until payment is confirmed.
Sessions are expected to last around 3-4 hours. Less if players wish to end early.
If you are not happy with my service and wish to drop out, simply do not pay for the previous session! Feedback to this end is greatly appreciated to help me improve and fix any issue you may have! This also means that there are no refunds because your refund is to just not pay!
